I know of one in pieces, has been for years. Might not be for sale though, but it’d be damn cheap. I can get you a Bavaria for $1000 right now.

Are they really serious with that price? I don’t think there is much sheet metal available for a E9 and the body is utterly horrible. All interior panels are complete crap too and I don’t see how the engine could be very good either.

BHCC is notorious for overpriced crap.

‘74 3.0S automatic. Located in central CA. Runs, badly and briefly. Has been sitting years. Large fuel leaks at carbs, suspension is destroyed, some rust developing but not bad. $1000 takes it. I dearly love these cars, if I didn’t already have old projects and had a place for it I’d buy it myself and sit on it.

Where at in central CA? I’m down in SoCal, I’m definitely intrigued.

Doesn’t look too bad all things considered. Just not sure I’d have the budget or time to iron it all out.

That’s my problem too. I mean, if you do the carbs and suspension bushings yourself you wouldn’t be into it too much in parts, but there’s loads of time there and no way of knowing how the engine and trans really are until it runs. We’d never seen it before, its owner passed away and it landed with a friend who asked us to check it out. Seems to have solid bones though.

Same here, we had a great white one with a 5 speed and triple Webers in last year, just right on Alpina wheels. What a car that was, just perfect.
